09:15 - 09:30 | Peter Peng | Forehead rejuvenation and reshaping by filler injection Injectables, especially botulinum toxin and fillers, are increasing in popularity and setting a global trend for minimal invasive treatments.

In the past decade, the global aesthetics community have become more focused on midface treatments.

Compared with Caucasians, Asians have a more retruded forehead. The sunken forehead makes the supra orbital ridge more prominent, and presents a musculine look.

Filler correction for a more feminine look is often desired, but challenging. Forehead located in upper third of face considered to be very important for overall facial beauty.

In addition, the forehead is one of the danger areas for severe vascular complications, such as necrosis and blindness after filler injection.

In this talk, I will present on how to reshape and rejuvenate the forehead safely and effectively. |
09:30 - 09:45 | Henry Tanojo | Beauty of the east: Race and ethnicity considerations for filler injection in the mid-face region Facial beauty is a diverse and culturally nuanced concept that cannot be universally defined. Administering filler injections is an art form that requires a deep understanding of racial and ethnic variations to achieve natural-looking results. Recognizing these variations is crucial, as they significantly influence perceptions of beauty and are key to human reproductive and survival success.

Differences in facial anatomy, baseline structures, and aging processes among various racial and ethnic groups necessitate tailored approaches to dermal filler applications. Indonesia, as the fourth most populous country and largest in Southeast Asia, exemplifies this diversity with its myriad ethnicities and unique facial features.

Additionally, the concept of facial dynamism and motion is vital when assessing and treating patients. The rheological properties of filler materials and the selection of appropriate products are essential to achieving the most natural outcomes, whether in static or dynamic facial states.

Keywords: natural result, injectable filler, hyaluronic acid, race, ethnicity, Asia, South East Asia, facial dynamism, facial motion. |
