I am the director of Miyata Plastic Surgery & Skin Clinic in Shimbashi, Tokyo. I’m board-certified Plastic Surgeon in Japan, and well-versed in aesthetic dermatology. I have extensive experience in minimally invasive or non-invasive procedures, such as energy-based devices, injectables, and thread lifts. In Japan, I am one of the leading authorities in dermatologic lasers and well-known correspondent of Japan’s aesthetic surgery and dermatology. My clinic has more than 40 different kinds of devices. My advantage is that I have engineering knowledge about EBD. Moreover, I am faculty of various injectable products in Japan. I have given extensive lectures on EBD therapy, injectables, and thread lift over 40 times each year domestically and abroad. I have published many articles and books which have also translated and sold outside Japan such as in Korea. Prof. Firas Al-Niaimi (MSc, MRCP, EBDV)​ is an award-winning Dermatologist with over 220 scientific publications in medical journals, 10 book chapters (and his own book) and over 400 scientific presentations in more than 83 countries around the globe. Professor Firas is one of the UK's most prolific and well-published dermatologists and one with a renowned international standing.​ He is a highly experienced and respected Consultant Dermatologist with nearly 20 years of medical experience and trained in some of the UK's top hospitals including the largest Dermatology Department in Europe (Manchester) and the world-renowned St. John's Institute of Dermatology at St. Thomas’ hospital where he completed a prestigious Laser and Mohs Surgical Fellowship there and continued to work as an Honorary Consultant for several years.  ​ Currently in addition to his private practice he is involved in academic research and international teaching and training of doctors and was awarded the "Global Excellence Award" for the title consultant dermatologist of the year 2019 in London given his services and commitment to dermatology.
