| 15:10 - 15:25 | Stephanie Lam | Mastering Sculptra®: The AART approach to facial aesthetics Mastering Sculptra involves a deep understanding of its unique properties as a biostimulator. Sculptra can stimulate collagen production to improve skin quality gradually and naturally. In a recent finding, Sculptra has the ability to upregulate genes related to elastin, skin pigmentation and antioxidants. Sculptra can stimulate more ECM components while inducing less inflammatory markers and rebuilds the ECM including collagen and elastin via tissue regeneration and morphological changes. By using the Galderma AART approach, first with proper “Assessment” of the patient to help identify the patient’s need and create an individualized treatment plan. Second, understanding the “Anatomy” of the face to ensure safe and effective injections. Next, applying the right “Range” of product could increase clinical outcome and patient satisfaction. Last, provide a holistic “Treatment” approach to meet the individual needs of each patient for optimal result. Levin | Complications in biostimulatory fillers As biostimulator such as calcium hydroxylapatite and poly-L-lactic acid injectables are becoming increasingly popular, proper and evidence-based complications including inadvertent vascular occlusion and nodules are crucial for injectors. I will present an overview of the most common complications from biostimulatory fillers and an algorithmic approach for management. |

Assistant Professor Thanya Techapichetvanich currently practices as clinical Instructor at Dermatologic surgery unit, Department of Dermatology, Siriraj hospital, she completed the fellowship training in laser and dermatologic surgery at Mahidol University and clinical fellowship in MMS and reconstruction, scar surgery and fat grafting at Yonsei University college of Medicine. In addition, she is also a mentor and lecturer in AMWC, ICAD, ADAC, ITCAM, IMCAS, SCARS and ISDS international conferences.
